Olympic RingsPeople from all walks of life are brought together under the slogan “One World One Dream” during this years Bloomingdale summer Olympics. All are welcome as these games are intended for all levels of athletic ability and competitiveness. Participants and spectators are encouraged to show up to Circle Park at 7pm on June 30th for the opening ceremony during which Mayor Bob Iden, Park Commissioner Mike Vogel and two young athletes will carry the Olympic Torch in and declare the games officially open. The Jesse White Tumblers will be performing their awe inspiring acrobatic performance following the ceremony. A live DJ will provide further entertainment while prizes are raffled off to some lucky winners. Parking will be available, but for our Medinah on the Lake residents we recommend making the short half mile walk to the park and avoid frustration.
